Corruption Trial Monitoring Programme

Period of implementation: June 2010 – January 2011

Goal of the Project

The Project’s overall goal is to raise the awareness among legal professionals and the public on the judiciary’s and criminal justice response to corruption and ultimately to contribute to a society free of corruption where all individuals enjoy equal treatment.

Project activities

  • Trial monitoring of cases related to organized crime and corruption,
  • Organization of a two days workshop in cooperation with the Academy for training of judges and public prosecutors,
  • Interview with the presiding judges
  • Preparation and publication of an analytical report
  • Organization of a press conference for public dissemination of the implemented activities and their results
