The Coalition “All for Fair Trials” started the implementation of the project “Support to Judicial and Criminal Justice Reforms” with a time range of nine monts (from April to December 2018)
The project is with the financial support of the OSCE Mission in Skopje
The attainment of the project is based on the monitoring of criminal cases under the new Criminal Procedure Law, based on the monitoring we will conduct conclusions on the implementation of the Criminal Procedural Law, furthermore the respect for human rights and freedoms, guaranteed by the Constitution and other Laws, before the courts in the criminal procedure.
The examination will be conducted in the basic courts of the four appellate regions in the Republic of Macedonia.
- To conduct monitoring of 400 main hearings by 16 trained observers in the four appellate areas.
- Prepare and publish a final written analysis for the monitoring of the court proceedings
- To organize two one-day trail tables in different appellate areas where judges, public prosecutors, lawyers, observers will discuss the findings and conclusions of the monitoring in the last 3 years.
- To hold a final conference on the presentation of the analysis and data derived from the monitoring.
