“A Way of Justice for Women Who Have Endured Family Violence”

Financially supported by the United States Agency for International Development – USAID, within the USAID Civil Society Project.

The Coalition “All for Fair Trials” started the implementation of the project “A Way to Justice for Women Who Have Endured Domestic Violence” part of a comprehensive campaign to promote assistance and support services for victims of violence within the USAID Women’s Legal Protection Project.

The main goal of the project:

Increasing access to justice for women who have suffered domestic violence.

Specific objectives:

  • Assessment of the level of court protection and promotion of court proceedings in cases related to domestic violence.
  • Acceleration of the essential reforms in the criminal and civil judicial system of protection.

Project activities:

  • Conducting trainings for 11 observers in 4 appellate areas for the purpose of the monitoring in civil and criminal proceedings related to domestic violence
  • Monitoring of 354 hearings by trained observers
